Beats Electronics (An Apple owned company), has announced new colour options for the Beats Powerbeats2 Wireless Earphones to match the different colour options of the Apple Watch Sport Bands. The lightweight, durable and sweat resistant earphones would now be available in Black, Blue, Green, Pink and White colour options.
The Beats Powerbeats2 Wireless Earphones was the first wireless earphones from Beats Electronics and it was co-designed by Basketball’s darling LeBron James. With the exception of the colour makeover, the earphone is still pretty much the same as the original Powerbeats2 and still sells for the same $200.
So what will your $200 bucks get you? Powerbeats2 has bluetooth connectivity, hence it can connect to smartphones, tablets and other Bluetooth-enabled devices like the iPhone, iPod and iPad within 30-feet range. There is a promise of 6 hours of battery life on a single charge, IPX4 certified for sweat and water resistance, inline microphone and remote which lets you control music playback, make and receive calls.
The earphone also comes with a protective hard-shell carrying case. You can find the original and new versions of the Beats Powerbeats2 Wireless earphones at any Apple retail store which a huge promotional space is said to have been reserved for or from the Apple online store.
