Wiko launches the Wiko Ridge 4G in Nigeria for N45,000

In a bid to keep trend with the likes of Innjoo and Infinix, Wiko has announced the 5-inch sized Wiko Ridge 4G in Nigeria. The smartphone would be available in stores around the country for a price earmarked to be N45,000 in Black Bleen, Black Grey, Black Clementine and Artic Gold colour options.

Speaking at the launch of the Wiko Ridge 4G in Nigeria, Channel Marketing Manager, Wiko, Mr. Adebayo Adams said;

“Wiko has again demonstrated its commitment to consistently offer varieties, freedom and quality to everyone in Nigeria. Ridge 4G device deliver unexpected performances, combined with the latest 4G technology and fantastic quality at amazing prices. There is much more to the RIDGE 4G than meets the eye. We are extending a challenge to future RIDGE 4G users that they should get ready for more from the unexpected power of the RIDGE 4G.

Moving to the specs, the Wiko Ridge 4G is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Adreno 306 GPU paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. The device comes with Dual SIM slots and the second SIM slot also serves as a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB). 

A crystal clear 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Full Lamination display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection eases operating the device. On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with Sony lens and Philips flash; a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats; and the smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.

Weighing just 125 grams the Wiko Ridge 4G is one of the lightest you can find around and it also measures 72.15 x 143 x 7.5 mm in dimensions. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, micro USB, USB 2.0, Bluetooth and GPS/A-GPS. The available sensor options are Magnetic sensor, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor. 

A 2400mAh battery backs the device by providing up to 274 hours of standby time and up to 17 hours on 2G connectivity. It is highly likely you will be able to buy the Wiko Ridge 4G in Nigeria from online stores like Jumia and Konga considering they have a track record of selling devices from the brand.

  1. Are you guys sure Wiko are selling phones or are ready to sell n Nigeria? because they are so overpriced than that of competitors and you hardly find anyone talking about it.

    Wiko phones in Nigeria are so dead on arrival.
