Innjoo Note Pro vs Infinix Hot Note Pro: Battle of the Pros

Two of the buzzing OEMs in Nigeria both have a pro version of their respective decent smartphone offering – the Innjoo Note Pro and the Infinix Hot Note Pro.  The Note Pro as the name suggests builds on the Innjoo Note (or the Innjoo Note E depending) and the Hot Note Pro on the other hand is also an improvement over the existing Infinix Hot Note

Both phablet sized device have numerous specs in common but in the end due to our readers requesting for a side by side comparison we have decided to pitch the Innjoo Note Pro vs the Infinix Hot Note Pro.

Innjoo Note Pro vs Infinix Hot Note Pro: Battle of the Pros

Display

Both the Innjoo Note Pro and the Infinix Hot Note Pro has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with both resulting in pixel density of around 267 ppi. Here nothing much separate both devices as they are on par. 

Processor and Memory

The Innjoo Note Pro is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU while the Infinix Hot Note Pro is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired with Mali 450-MP2 GPU. 

Both smartphone use 2GB of RAM; however the Innjoo Note Pro has 16GB space of internal storage with an option to extent up to 64GB more via a microSD card slot while the Infinix Hot Note Pro has 32GB of RAM with the same MicroSD card option. 

Camera

The Innjoo Note pro comes out on top here with its 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera combination, which the selfies lovers would like a lot. The Infinix Hot Note Pro doesn’t stay far behind here with its rear facing 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. 

Battery

The Infinix Hot Note Pro comes out on-top in this category with its monster 4000mAh battery capacity compared to the 3000mAh battery capacity on the Innjoo Note Pro. An extra 1000mAh of juice would go a long way in ensuring longer battery life. 

Operating System

 
Both devices run Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with both companies customisation which they both desire. Had one of the company  opted to run Android Lollipop OS, it would have given one device edge over the other but it is still a tie at this point. 

Pricing

Due to its slightly superior advantage the Infinix Hot Note Pro costs slightly higher at N26,000 while the Innjoo Note Pro doesn’t stray far behind at N25,000. Both smartphones can be purchased from either Konga or Jumia e-commerce platforms. 

Verdict

Every brand has its own loyal fan, both smartphone offer decent and latest specs according to the local market. Camera-centric users, heavy users who need bigger batteries and those who are game lovers know which device to go for.
