Celkon has announced the Celkon Campus A35K Remote with Universal Remote option that lets you control appliances and devices like DVD players, TVs, Air Conditioner (AC), and more taking advantage of the IR Blaster (IR Transmitter) on the smartphone.
It also let you set reminders, favourite your preferred channels and access TV Guides thanks to the Peel Smart Remote Software pre-installed. Asides the Remote control features, the device is the same as the Celkon Campus A35K with Android Kitkat OS which was released last year.
Moving to the specs, the Celkon Campus A35K Remote features a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a processor clocked at 1GHz paired with 256 MB RAM and 512MB space of Internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Dual SIM budget smartphone has a rear facing 3.2MP camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA (0.3MP) camera. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, FM Radio, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth with A2DP.
The Celkon Campus A35K Remote also runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 1400mAh battery. It is available in Black, Blue, Grey and White colour options for Rs 3199 ($50). Celkon is also bundling a free 16GB microSD card along.
