LG G4 S shows up in Press Render

LG is reportedly readying a new variant of the LG G4; that device is the LG G4 S. The smartphone is expected to launch around the Second Half of July and would sell for a price yet to be known.

The LG G4 S inherits the same design as the flagship G4 itself but no leather back option here. It features a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display which uses In-Cell technology. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz  and has a rear facing 8MP Laser Autofocus camera with Dual LED flash.

Asides that, there is not much information on the device. But in terms of look, it seems we have another watered down version of the G4 on our hands.

By contrast, the LG G4 has a 5.5-inch (2560 x 1440 pixels) QHD display with Corning Glass 3 protection and a pixel density of 538ppi. Under the hood, it has a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage.

Despite the LG G4 having an exquisite look and is said to perform at top notch, the device is still not selling well compared flagships like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5 Edge. The company has already announced the LG G4c – a compact version of the flagship and the LG G4 Stylus (which is the LG G Stylo in some markets) a midrange phablet of the flagship with Stylus.
