Chinese based company, UMI has been teasing a new Dual-display smartphone – the UMI Zero 2 on its official facebook page for some days now. The Android OS based smartphone is expected to have Two displays – one normal one on the front and a more power conserving e-ink display on the back. With the two images, UMI has teased of the successsor to the UMI Zero – UMI Zero 2 smartphone we can deduce that the smartphone has a rear e-ink display and rear camera with LED flash. On the front, the smartphone has Android Lollipop OS software keys and a home button.
The market is not yet saturated with Dual display smartphones but the Yotaphone and YotaPhone 2 from the Yotaphone family only come to mind for now. Spanish manufacturer, Siswoo also listed the Siswoo R9 Darkmoon with a dual-display setup. The UMI Zero 2 Specs includes – 64-bit Octa-core Mediatek MT6752 Cortex-A53 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) display, rear facing 13-megapixel camera and front facing 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is expected to retail at a price tag equivalent to $500 or a price pretty much lesser than that.
