Lenovo Vibe P1 (Lenovo P1mc50) certified on TENAA, comes with 4000mAh battery

The Lenovo Vibe P1 was one of the leaked smartphone expected to go official at the MWC 2015 earlier this year but didn’t see an announcement. This same device has now been certified on TENAA in China which confirms some of its specs.

The Lenovo Vibe P1 is listed with the codename – Lenovo P1mc50 and is expected to pack a large battery capacity which is said to be 4000mAh in capacity whilst some sources say the capacity is 3900mAh. It is not surprising the device measures 9.35mm thin considering such large battery the device uses. 

It features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, has a mixture of ceramics and metal body build, and has three capacitive buttons below the display. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage space. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The full dimensions on the Lenovo P1mc50 is 143 × 72 × 9.35 mm in dimensions and it weighs 148 grams. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and supports 4G LTE as well as others standard connectivity options. The main camera is a 8MP snapper while the front selfie camera is a 5MP snapper. 

The Lenovo Vibe P1 is expected to have a pro version which would come with a more bigger battery and a phablet sized display. The Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro would feature a 5000mAh battery with quick charging tech,  runs Android 5.1, has a 5.5-inch display and has a body build/design likened to that of the HTC One Series smartphone.
