China’s popular handset manufacturer, Huawei, which is notoriously known for making very affordable phones is prepared to launch one of the first Android phones with a 64-bit ARM processor. The unannounced Huawei G621 (Huawei G621-TL00) has been spotted on benchmark website, ANTUTU.
The highlight of the smartphone is that it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor. Though the Huawei G621 is hardly the first 64-bit processor, the Apple iPhone 5S also uses a 64-bit processor, and phones and tablets with Intel’s Merrifield and Moorefield chips also have 64-bit processor.
Other expected specs of the upcoming G621 are mid-range specifications; it sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels (HD), powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor (a quad-core Cortex-A53) wih Adreno 306 graphics, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt expandable storage space.
The device has a rear facing 5-megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixels camera for video calling as well as selfies. The Huawei G621 has not been officially announced nor launched, but the smartphone will offer 4G TD-LTE connectivity along with other regular connectivity options.
