Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus goes official with quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM and Android 5.0

Karbonn has taken the wraps off the Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus, the latest smartphone from the company’s Titanium series. The midrange device costs Rs 6990 ($110) and comes in Dark Blue, White and White with Gold colour options. It is already available in major e commerce platforms and retail stores in India.

The Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus features a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 72 pixels and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz. 2GB of RAM is onboard and there is 16Gb space of internal storage which can be extended with another 32GB with a microSD card. 

The main camera is a 8MP snapper with LED flash and the front selfie camera is a 5MP snapper with front flash and BSI sensor which means you don’t have to worry about taking photos in low light conditions. Connectivity option on the Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus includes – 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS but no 4G LTE. 

The Karbonn Titanium MachOne Plus measures 137 x 68 x 8.1mm in dimensions, weighs 136 grams, supports Dual SIM functionality, runs Android 5.0.x Lollipop OS and comes with SwiftKey 5.3 pre-installed which has support for 22 local Indian languages. It is backed by a rather small 1800mAh battery. 

Gesture based features such as Smart Eye gesture – pauses video when you look away from the display, Multi Gesture – access the device with two-finger swipes, Smart Awake – to access apps from locked screen and Smart Swipe – to change tracks by moving hands over the display.
