InFocus M2 4G with 8MP front and rear camera launched

InFocus has announced the InFocus M2 4G smartphone, a slight upgrade over the InFocus M2. The device is priced at Rs 5499 ($87) and comes in Black and White colour options. It would go on sale via a series of flash sales starting July 24th on Amazon India (Amazon.in).

The InFocus M2 4G as the name suggests is the 4G variant of the InFocus M2 and comes with the quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC asides that most of the specs are basically the same. Talking about the device’s 4G LTE connectivity, it supports FDD-LTE Bands 1, 3, 7, 8 and 28 and TDD-LTE Bands 38,39, 40, 41 in India. 

Moving to specs, nothing much has changed over the InFocus M2; the M2 4G is powered by the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 64GB). 

It sports a 4.2-inch HD LTPS display with a pixel density of 355ppi. Both the front and rear cameras are 8MP f/2.2 snappers with both also having a LED flash. Asides 4G LTE other connectivity options on the InFocus M2 4G includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0 + BLE.

The InFocus M2 4G runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS, measures 135 × 64.5 x 11.1mm in dimensions, weighs around145 grams, comes with Dual Micro SIM slots (4G + 2G) and is backed by a non-removable 2010mAh battery.
