iBall Slide O900-C voice calling tablet with 7.85-inch display and Octa-core SoC announced

Indian device manufacturer, iBall has added a new tablet – the iBall Slide O900-C to the company’s slide series of tablet. The 7.85-inch device would be available across major online retail and offline retail outlets in coming weeks for Rs 12999 ($204).

The iBall Slide O900-C sports a 7.85-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and a 4:3 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450-MP4 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

For storage purpose, there is 16GB internal storage onboard and additional 32GB can be added via a microSD card slot. On the rear, there is a 5MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies, video chats.

Just like some other iBall Slide tablets, the Slide O900-C comes with a Dual SIM slot (Mini + Micro), supports 3G connectivity and can make voice calls (via handsfree) just like a mobile phone. Asides 3G HSPA+ connectivity, others includes GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB OTG.

The iBall Slide O900-C runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a 4000mah battery. It supports over 19 regional Indian languages for reading and writing; it also comes with gesture support which lets you draw on the lock screen to directly launch apps.
