The race is hotting up amongst Indian Smartphone makers with different companies launching mid-range smartphones running on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Following in the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Lava and iBerry, Intex has launched its own smartphones running on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The newly introduced smartphones announced from Intex are the Aqua N15 and the Aqua i14. Both devices offer similar specifications under the hood but has a different screen size.
Intex Aqua N15
The Intex Aqua N15 features a 4-inch IPS FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display resulting in a pixel density of 245ppi. The device is powered by a 1.3 Quad-core (unspecified chipset) processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via micro SD), 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera.
Intex Aqua N15
The Aqua N15 offers Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) support, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box, and there is no word on the battery capacity of the device. Connectivity options on the device includes Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, and Wi-Fi.

The Intex Aqua i14 features a 5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB via micro SD), 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera.

The Aqua i14 offers Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) support, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the-box and has a battery capacity of 1850mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Aqua i14 includes micro USB, EDGE/GPRS, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and also comes pre-loaded with Saavn, Operamini and OLX apps.
