Micromax has added a new smartphone – the Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 E313, a new entrant to the company’s Canvas series of devices. It would be available from Flipkart and would go on sale for Rs 5999 ($93) in a series of Flash sales. The first flash sales starts on August 4th and registrations towards that is already on.
The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 E313 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor clocked at 1.4GHz with Mali 450 GPU and 1GB RAM.
Internal storage stands at 8GB but it is expandable up to 32GB thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot. On the rear, there is a 13MP Autofocus camera with Dual LED flash, Largan 5P Lens and OmniVision OV13850 Sensor. The front facing camera is a 2MP snapper with OmniVision OV2680 sensor for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options on the Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 E313 includes – 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n but no 4G LTE connectivity. It currently runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS but is upgradable to Android Lollipop OS.
The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 E313 is backed by a 2500mAh battery, supports Dual SIM slots and comes equipped with Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo DAC for quality sound experience. Black with Gold Trim is the only available colour option.
