Motorola Moto G 2015 goes official with 4G LTE and Android 5.1.1

At an event in India, Motorola has officially taken the wraps off the Motorola Moto G 2015. The device which is also known as the Moto G 3rd Gen is available starting tonight on Flipkart in Black and White colour option

Talking about pricing, the Motorola Moto G 2015 is available in two RAM and Storage variants – the 1GB RAM variant which has 8GB of internal storage costs INR Rs 11999 ($188) while the 2GB RAM variant with 16GB space of internal storage costs Rs 12999 ($204). Both storage variants have a microSD slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

Moving to the specs, the Moto G 2015 features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor with Adreno 306 GPU and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.

The Motorola Moto G 2015 is IPX7 certified for water resistance. It has a rear facing 13MP f/2.0 camera with dual-tone LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera with 72-degree wide angle lens for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11n and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+.

Measuring 142.1 x 72.4 x 6.1-11.6mm in dimensions, the Moto G 2015 weighs 155g, supports Dual SIM slots and is backed by a 2470mAh battery. It also comes with the Moto Display which shows notifications and time at a glance. There are several perks added when purchasing the device.
