Motorola Moto Pulse and Moto Surround wireless headsets launched

Along with the Moto G (2015), Moto X Play and Moto X Style, Motorola announced two new wireless headsets – the Moto Surround and Moto Pulse.

The Motorola Moto Surround in-ear earbuds is the costlier of the two headsets. Priced at $69.99, the headset is aimed at music lovers who are always on the move and is designed to rest on the collars to prevent the headphones from falling off. Offering full HD sound via built-in aptX technology, the accessory is HZO protected for sweat and sweat resistant.

It connects to devices via Bluetooth v4.1, lasts around 12 hours of playtime on a single charge, has built-in mic & talk button and dedicated button keys (Play/Pause and Skip) on the collar. The Moto Surround can pair two smartphones simultaneously and is available in two colour mix options – Black/Blue and Black/Charcoal options.

The Motorola Moto Pulse on-ear headphones on the other hand is priced at $59.99; it weighs 111 grams, has a bluetooth wireless range of 60 feet, built-in mic for receiving and making calls and is said to last around 18 hours of single charge. Like the Surround, the Moto Pulse can also pair two devices at a time and is available in Chalk White and Black colour options.

Both the Moto Surround and Moto Pulse are available from Motorola’s official website and are compatible with virtually any device with Bluetooth connectivity, Android devices – smartphones and tablets, iOS devices – iPhones and iPads.

Android and iOS users can also take advantage of the Motorola Connect app for each platform. The app offers battery management and notifications, easy pairing with the either OS smartphone and can be used to locate the last location of the accessory in cases of theft or its gets misplaced.
