Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro phablet (Lenovo P1c72) with 4900mAh battery pays a visit to TENAA

In February this year, the Lenovo P1 Pro along with a flurry of other Lenovo Vibe Series smartphones had their details leaked and we’re all expected to be announced at the MWC 2015, however, that didn’t materialise.

A device with the model number – Lenovo P1c72 believed to be the Vibe P1 Pro has now paid visit to TENAA Certification Agency in China which could possibly mean a nearer launch date.

The Lenovo P1c72 or Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz which could either be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 or the MediaTek MT6752 processors with 3GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage which is expandable with the inclusion of a microSD card slot.

On the rear, there is a 13MP camera and on the front, there is a 5MP camera. Lenovo doesn’t do home buttons on their smartphones, but with the inclusion of this on the Lenovo Vibe P1 Pro confirms earlier leaks that the device would have fingerprint scanner integration.

The Lenovo Vibe Pro measures 152.9 x 75.6 x 9.9 mm, weighs around 189 grams which you consider being light, has an all metal unibody design and is backed by a huge 4900mAh battery which explains the thickness and the added weight.

Of all the devices leaked before the MWC 2015, only the Lenovo Vibe shot has been officially announced. However during these past few weeks has seen both the Lenovo Vibe S1 (S1c50) and the Lenovo Vibe P1 (P1mc50) have both been certified by TENAA in China.

In another development, Motorola – a Lenovo fully owned company just announced the next Motorola Moto X and G Series devices – the Motorola Moto X Style, Motorola Moto X Play and the Motorola Moto G 2015.
