Along with the Tecno Camon C5, Tecno is now expected to launch another Android Lollipop OS based device – the Tecno Camon C8. The phablet sized device is expected to be available on e-commerce websites in coming weeks for a price tag revolving around the N20,000 mark (could be more or less).
Just like the Camon C5, the company is also touting the Tecno Camon C8 as a Camera-centric smartphone so you should expect a lot of camera features. The main camera is a 13MP AutoFocus snapper with Dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.
The front camera is a 5MP snapper also with LED flash and the device also has a dedicated camera shutter button for ease of taking photos. The Camon C8 is backed by a 3000mAh battery, powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor paired with 16GB space of internal storage and disappointly just 1GB of RAM.

There is no word on the official announcement of the Tecno Camon C8 but Tecno seems not to be taking a cue from fellow competitors which have all stopped releasing devices with 1GB RAM.
On the other hand, the device would definitely appeal to user who favour taking photos and selfies over performance. In the past, Tecno had been guilty of releasing below-par standard devices, as a result the brand means so many things to different people.
However, the company is partly credited for bringing affordable Android phones to the hands of many Nigerians.
what just 1GB of RAM? The battery would be capable tho.
