Intex Aqua Curve Mini With Android 4.4 KitKat and Quad-Core processor

With the Indian budget smartphone market heating up, local OEMs are looking to deliver low-end smartphones running on Android 4.4 Kitkat; Karbonn, Celkon, Micromax and Lava have all delivered phones in this range.

Intex is also following suit by launching the third Aqua smartphone running on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with the Intex Aqua Curve Mini, tojoin the already released Aqua smartphones running on Kitkat was the Aqua N15 and Aqua i14.

The Intex Aqua Curve Mini features a 4.5-inch IPS Curve display with a resolution of FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels), powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.

Other details includes – a rear facing 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash, a 2-Megapixels front facing camera for selfies, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and Dual-SIM support.

The Intex Aqua Curve Mini is powered by a 1500mAh battery and also comes pre-loaded with several app including – Opera-mini, OLX, Saavn apps. The device has been placed with a price tag of Rs. 7,290 in India (around N20,000 in Naira).

The Intex Aqua Curve Mini is set to compete against the Lava IrisV1, Moto E, XOLO Q1000 Opus, Micromax Unite 2, and the Micromax Canvas Engage.
