Wiko has joined in the selfies train with the Wiko Selfy 4G; the device isn’t a midrange like most selfie focused smartphones out there, however, it should serve it’s purpose dutifully.
The Wiko Selfy 4G is an entry-level selfie focused smartphone with front and back facing 8MP cameras with each having a LED flash to go along; the camera should be good enough for selfies even in low light conditions.
It sports a 4.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), under the hood it is powered by a quad-core cortex A53 processor clocked at 1GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB space of internal storage.
There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. Connectivity options on the Wiko Selfy 4G includes 4G LTE Cat.4 , Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB. It measures 141 x 68.4 x 7.7 mm in dimensions and weighs 116 grams.
The Wiko Selfy 4G boots Android 5.1 with an iOS looking Wiko Skin ontop and is backed by a 2300mAh battery. The device will go on sale starting August 21st in France for a price tag of €200 and is available in Black, Mint, Ruby and Black colour options.
Wiko sells it’s smartphones in Nigeria too, so at some point the device could (or could not) make its entrance to the Nigerian market.
