Fly Cirrus 1 debuts in Russia with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS

Fly has added a new series of mobile devices under the name Cirrus and the first phone to come from it is the Fly Cirrus 1. The lower midrange is available in Russia in Black colour option only for RUB 7590 which is about USD 110 or EUR 99.

The Fly Cirrus 1 features a 5-inch IPS LCD. display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), a pixel density of 267ppi, 66.88% screen to body ratio and Dragon trail Glass protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor clocked at 1.2GHz with ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU.

The chipset is paired with either 1GB or 2GB of RAM and there is 8GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for expansion up to 32GB. On the rear, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 2MP snapper for selfies.

Connectivity options on the Cirrus 1 includes – 3G HSPA+, USB 2.0, micro USB, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and A-GPS. Sensor options on the device includes – Accelerometer, Light Sensor and Proximity sensor. 

Measuring 142.7 x 72.45 x 8.8 mm in dimensions and weighing around 144 grams, the Dual SIM (Mini SIM) enabled Fly Cirrus 1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a removable 2050mAh battery which can provide up to 8 hours of talktime or up to 7.5 days of standby time with both on 2G.
