Some weeks ago, Samsung sent some tablets into India which was spotted on Zauba. According to the listing, the tablets have a massive 18.4-inch display. Even though those units have been destroyed by now, more information on those tablets has surfaced courtesy of Sammobile.
According to the report, the 18.4-inch Samsung tablet is infact real, it is codenamed Tahoe internally and has the model number SM-T670. With such a huge display, you sure shouldn’t have expect a customer focused device. Instead it is said to be targeted at Office and Educational places.
Moving to the specs, the Samsung SM-T670 or Tahoe has a massive 18.4-inch display which is not a Super AMOLED one but TFT-LCD with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and a pixel density of around 120 pixels per inch.
Under the hood, the tablet would be powered by a Samsung Exynos 7580 processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM and there would 32GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 128GB.
People have taken things to the extreme taking selfies so there is a 2.1MP front camera that and for those who can lift the tablet anytime they like, can take photos with 8MP rear camera (possibly with LED flash).
The Samsung SM-T670 measures 451.8 x 275.8 x 11.9mm in dimensions, runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is powered by a 5700mAh battery.
