HTC Aero could debut as the HTC A9 with 10-core Helio X20 processor

HTC promised a hero phone which turned out to be the HTC Aero which is expected to debut later this year, October to be precise. At the moment there seem to a confusion whether the HTC Aero is the HTC O2 or is an entirely new device. 

According to a new report, the HTC Aero is now expected to go official as the HTC A9. The device would be powered by the first 10-core processor announced – the 10-core Mediatek Helio x20 (MT6797) processor with ARM Mali T800 series GPU. 

It would have a 2.5D display and come in an all metal body build. The A9 would be available in Dark Grey and Tyrant Gold colour options for a price tag between $470 – $626 (¥3000 – ¥4000). 

Previous information about the HTC Aero suggest it would have Quad HD resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, a very capable camera with f/1.9 aperture and ability to capture in RAW format. The camera UI will also be redesigned and it would be able to take quality photos in low light conditions. 

Some couple of days ago, a new phone dubbed the HTC O2 with both 5-inch and 6-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 64GB/128GB interna storage, 20.7MP main camera, 5MP front camera, IP certification and 3500mAh battery.
