Panasonic Eluga Switch launched with 8MP front camera, 5.5″ Screen and Android 5.0

Panasonic has added the Panasonic Eluga Switch to the list of smartphones offering in India. The phablet sized smartphone with large front facing camera is selling for Rs 19,990 in Gun Metal Grey colour option via Amazon.

The Switch is the epitome of consumer preferences, designed by keeping into consideration extensive customer feedback and expert technology.”

Running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, the Panasonic Eluga Switch features a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Asahi DragonTrail Glass protection and Oleophobic coating around the body for protect it against scratches. 

Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The company decided to go 32GB internal storage space but no room for a microSD card slot. 

On the back, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, Android Beam, USB OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. 

The Panasonic Eluga Switch comes packed with JBL headsets and comes with front facing Dual JBL-powered 1.2W speakers with Hi-Fi Sound and 3D audio. The device measures 152.7 x 75.14 x 7.4mm in dimensions, weighs 141 grams and is backed by a 2910mAh battery.
