Intex Aqua Slice II launched with Android 5.1 and quad-core SoC

Intex has launched a new smartphone – the Intex Aqua Slice II in the Aqua series range of devices. The 5-inch sized entry-level device is already selling on most online store locations in the India for a price tag of Rs 5999 ($90) in Black, Blue and  White colour options to choose from. 

Running Android 5.1 Lollipop from the onset, the Intex Aqua Slice II weighs  97 grams in size, measures 71.9 x 141 x 8 mm in dimensions and supports Dual SIM slots possibly with dual standby. Running the show is a 2000mAh battery capable of providing up to around 300 hours of standby time and 7 hours of talk time. 

The camera combination on the Aqua Slice II is a front facing 2 Megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 5 Megapixels camera with LED flash. Connectivity options on the device includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, GPS with AGPS and 3G. 

The Intex Aqua Slice II is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731G processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with ARM Mali 400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion and it sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD).
