Indian-based phone (smartphone and feature) and tablet manufacturer, Pantel Technologies has announced the Pantel T-Pad WS704Q 3G from the company’s T-Pad Wonder series family. The Dual SIM enabled 7-inch voice calling slate is available exclusively from HomeShop18 in India for a price tag of Rs 5999 ($90).
Running Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS from the onset, the Pantel T-Pad WS704Q 3G sports a 7-inch IPS multi-touch capacitive display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels (WSVGA). Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali 400 GPU for graphics, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in internal storage space.
On the back lies, the main 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash, the front camera is a 5-Megapixels snapper for selfies ass well aas video chats and for additional storag, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. Connectivity options on the tablet includes – Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, Bluetooth 2.1, USB OTG and HDMI.
The Pantel T-Pad WS704Q 3G supports 2G and 3G networks only and has Dual SIM (3G + 3G) functionality, this means that asides surfing the net, it can also be used for making voice calls. It is backed by a 3000mAh lithium battery which should last some hours of usage.
