iBall Cobalt Solus 4G debuts with HD Screen, 2GB RAM and Android 5.1

iBall has listed up a new smartphone up on its official website in the Cobalt series. Dubbed the iBall Cobalt Solus 4G, the device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and supports LTE network bands in India. There is no word on pricing and availability yet.

Moving to the specs, the iBall Cobalt Solus 4G sports a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 1GHz paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage. 

For additional storage space, there could be a microSD card slot which should support up to 32GB card or more. Connectivity options on the device includes – micro USB, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. 

There is also HotKnot connectivity option onboard to perform NFC-like functions. The iBall Cobalt Solus 4G sports a rear facing 13 Megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 8 Megapixels camera for selfies. 

The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, has Dual SIM support with Dual Standby and is backed by a 2000mAh battery which should last some hours of usage.
