Samsung Z3 Tizen OS Phone with 5-inch screen and improved camera will be released soon

Samsung is expected to announce the Samsung Z3 – the apparent successor to the Samsung Z1 very soon. The potential second Tizen OS smartphone ever will come with a bigger display size, improved camera compared to its predecessor; it has also been certified in the US by the FCC.

According to the available details, the Samsung Z3 Tizen phone (SM-Z300H) has a 5-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display compared to 4-inch WVGA on its predecessor. Under the hood is a quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. The SoC could be a Spreadtrum, Qualcomm or Exynos one. 

The device is Dual SIM enabled, 8GB internal storage space, a microSD card slot, rear facing 8 Megapixels camera with LED flash, a front facing 5 Megapixels camera and backed by a reasonable 2600mAh battery. 

It is expected to priced moderately to be able to replicate or surpass the success of the Z1 which sold around 1 million units in the first quarter of release in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka earlier this year.

Samsung is expected to announce the Samsung Z3 Tizen OS running phone at the forthcoming Tizen Developer Conference (TDC 2015) in Shenzen China (September 17 – 18) or could possibly be released along with the similar Tizen OS running Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch starting early October. 

The company is expected to release the device to developing markets in Asia – India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladeshi; the Middle East and even Egypt in Africa. Tizen Association is the developer behind the Tizen OS which has the alliance of Samsung, Huawei and Intel.
