Intex has announced an interesting midrange smartphone in India – the Intex Aqua Ace. The device is the first from the Indian based company with 3GB of RAM and also supports 4G LTE connectivity as well as running Android Lollipop OS.
In terms of pricing, the Aqua Ace is priced at Rs 12,999 (USD$198) in Black and White colour options. Included in the price are: one full year of screen breakage warranty, a smart or sensor-based flip cover and an additional free bag pack to go along.

Moving to the specs, the device sports a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It measures 145 x 71.5 x 6.7mm in dimensions, weighs 121.5grams, has a front facing 5MP camera and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash.
Under the hood is the midrange darling from Mediatek, the quad-core Mediatek MT6735 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with an ample 3GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, the Intex Aqua Ace has a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB cards.
Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and supports 2G/3G/4G LTE networks bands in the country. The Intex Aqua Ace has Dual SIM slots, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2300mAh Li-po battery.
