Onda V820W CH Windows 10 tablet debuts with 4200mAh battery

Onda has announced a new Windows 10 OS based budget tablet – the Onda V820W CH. The 8-inch slate is the second from the company to take advantage of Intel’s Cherry Trail processor and is already available listed up by several retailers for a price tag around USD $115.

Moving to the specs, the Onda V820W CH sports a 8-inch IPS Retina capacitive touch screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 clocked at 1.84GHz with Intel HD Graphics, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

The slate has a front facing 2MP camera as well as a 2MP rear facing camera and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for which supports up to 128GB. Connectivity options includes – Micro HDMI port, microUSB port, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB OTG and supports external 3G modems.

Running full Windows 10 OS, the Onda V820W CH comes with all the full-fledged features of the new OS – Microsoft Edge, Cortana and more. The slate measures 205 x 120 x 8.9mm in dimensions, weighs 355 grams and is backed by a 4200mAh battery. The battery provide up to 5 hours of working time.
