Cherry Mobile Omega 4G debuts with 2GB RAM, 4G LTE and Android 5.1

The Cherry Mobile Omega 4G is one of the most current smartphones from the Philippines based OEM, Cherry Mobile. The LTE-enabled device is selling in the home country for a price tag of Php 5999 ($131) from different retail stores since last month (September). 

Moving to the specs, the Cherry Mobile Omega 4G sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.0GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of expandable internal storage. 

Packing support for 2G GSM, 3G W-CDMA & 4G LTE (FDD-LTE) networks, other connectivity options available onboard includes – Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, microUSB 2.0, GPS, Wi-Fi Hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0. 

The device rocks a rear facing 13MP main AutoFocus camera with LED flash, a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. 

The Cherry Mobile Omega 4G has Dual SIM slots (4G + 2G), runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by an average 2000mAh battery. Black and White are the only available colour options.
