Samsung is one of the very few OEMs which announce so many devices in a year and it is hard to argue that the South Korean company has the largest portfolio of mobile devices – tablets and phones. Barely two months the Samsung Galaxy J2 has gone official, the company seems to be working on the Galaxy J3 which has been spotted on benchmark listing.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 with the model number SM-J3109 has been spotted on GFXBench and some of the expected specs of the device has also been listed. The device comes with some minimal upgrades over the Galaxy J2. It sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD).
Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage out of 5.1GB is available to the user. There should be a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 has a main 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies; both cameras records 1080p (FHD) videos. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and 4G LTE. There is no word on the battery capacity but it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
