Intex has announced a new 4G LTE smartphone in form of the Intex Cloud Swift in India. It is available exclusively on Snapdeal for a price tag of Rs 8888 in Champagne and Grey colours; while registrations for the device is underway, actual sales begin on October 20th.

Moving to the specs, the Intex Cloud Swift has a 5-inch 720 HD IPS display with 65.7% screen-to-body ratio and Asahi DragonTrail Glass protection. It measures 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.9mm in dimensions, weighs 140grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735A processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics, 3GB of RAM for operation and 16GB native storage space for files and more. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot that accepts up to 128GB cards.
The Intex Cloud Swift supports 4G LTE connectivity with support for LTE bands in India; other connectivity options includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The device also has HotKnot connectivity which has similar functions with NFC.
For photography, there is a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies et video chats. It has Dual SIM slots, support for 21 local Indian languages and is backed by a reasonable 2500mAh battery.
