Onda announces oBook 11, a 2-in-1 notebook with Intel Atom Cherry Trail, Windows 10 and 8000mAh battery

Chinese OEM, Onda is branching into laptops or notebooks category with the oBook 11 (Wave oBook 11). The Onda oBook 11 is expected to go on sale in China for a promotional price of USD 160 (CNY 999) soon but third-party websites like AliExpress already has the convertible listed for a price tag around USD 250.

The Onda oBook 11 has a 11.6-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and has a hinge like the Lenovo Yoga tablets which lets the tablet fold back 360-degrees to be used as a tablet too. Under the hood, it is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Cherry Trail processor clocked at 1.8GHz, with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

The notebook has a 2 megapixels camera on the front, a microSD card slot for additional storage up to 128GB, stereo speakers, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI port, 3.5mm headphone jack along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity. There is also a dedicated port for charging.

Running Windows 10 Home OS, the Onda oBook 11 measures 195/390 x 288 x 15.4 mm in dimensions, weighs a little under 1.2 kilograms and is backed by a 8000mAh battery that should provide up to 7 hours (or more) of usage.
