One of the leading Chinese Telco company, China Telecom has announced a new interesting mid-range phone; the device in question here is the Green Orange GO JL612. It is priced at CNY 1699 (approx. $269) in China and can be purchased exclusively from the carrier in Gold and Silver colour options.
Moving to the specs, the Green Orange GO JL612 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD). Under the hood lies a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with ARM Mali-T720 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB native storage space.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5-Megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 13-Megapixels camera with LED flash; for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It supports FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 and GSM networks in China.
Other connectivity options available includes Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, microUSB 2.0, GPS/Beidou and 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4 – up to 150Mbps download speed). Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, the Green Orange GO JL612 has Dual Micro SIM slots and is backed by a sustainable 2850mAh battery.
