Elephone’s subsidiary brand, ECOO has dropped two teaser images of an upcoming smartphone ahead of its release date – the ECOO E06. The phablet sized device is the first device in the world to be powered by the Mediatek Helio P10 processor and would run Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

The ECOO E06 Phablet is powered by a 64-bit Mediatek Helio P10 MT6755 octa-core processor clocked up to 2GHz with Mali-T860 GPU. The P10 is the first from the Helio P family of chipset; it also supports LTE Cat.6 and is built using the TSMC 28nm production process.

The device rocks a full metal body build, a non bezel-less 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), a fingerprint scanner (embedded in the home button or below the main camera) and boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The company has ditched the traditional USB port for the USB Type-C Port for charging and others.

Several information about the ECOO E06 is still missing, we don’t know how much RAM, internal storage space, the cameras and battery capacity of the device. Support for 4G LTE connectivity as well as the standard ones and Dual SIM slots should however be expected.
