It is also the first integrated one-chip processor from Samsung which has the application and modem combined.

The new processor which has has an Octa-core (4 x custom cores + 4 x ARM Cortex-A53 cores) offers over 30-percent improvement in performance and around 10-percent in power efficiency compared to the Exynos 7 Octa 7420.

It uses ARM Mali-T880 MP4 GPU for graphics which supports up to 4K Ultra HD (4096 x 2160) display resolution and is equipped with LTE Rel.12 Cat.12/13 modem that provides up to 600Mbps download speed (Cat.12) and up to 150Mbps upload speed (Cat.13).
