Romanian based company, Allview has announced the Allview X2 Soul Style and it’s Plus variant – the Allview X2 Soul Style+ with additional RAM; both devices join others in the company’s Soul series of devices.
Both devices have the same specs but the Allview X2 Soul Style+ Plus has 3GB of RAM and is available in Platinum colour only for RON 999 ($240) while the Allview X2 Soul Style has just 2GB of RAM and available in Gold and Blue Pearl colour options for RON 899 ($215).
The Allview X2 Soul Style (and X2 Soul Style+) sports a 5-inch IPS LCD ONCELL touch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution with full lamination and Asahi Dragontail Glass for protection. It measures 71.2 x 142.4 x 6.95 mm in dimensions, weighs 128 grams and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor MediaTek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU for graphics and 16GB built-in storage. In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash.
The device has a Hybrid Dual SIM slot (Micro SIM + Nano SIM/microSD card slot) with the second SIM slot acting as the microSD card slot for allowing up to 128GB. Connectivity options on the Allview X2 Soul Style (and X2 Soul Style+) includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB 2.0, Wi-Fi Hotspot and 4G LTE. A 2350mAh battery powers it.
