Mediacom announces WinPad W801 and WinPad W700 tablets

Mediacom has announced two new tablets – one with Dual OS – the Mediacom WinPad W801 and the other which is the WinPad W700 that runs Windows 10. In terms of pricing, the former will retail EUR 119.90 and the latter will retail for EUR 99.90; both will go on sale starting by Early December. 

Mediacom WinPad W801

The Mediacom WinPad W801 is a Dual OS tablet i.e it runs both Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and Windows 10; switching from one OS to another is by just a click of the button. The tablet sports a 8-inch 720p HD IPS TFT display, powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G 64-bit quad-core processor with clock speed up to 1.83GHz, 1GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.

The rest of the specs includes – a microSD card slot (up to 32GB cards), front 0.3MP (VGA) camera and 2MP main camera as well as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, micro USB port and 3G. It measures 206 x 124 x 10mm in dimensions, weighs 400 grams and is backed by 3500mAh Lithium Polymer battery. 

Mediacom WinPad W700

The Mediacom WinPad W700 runs a single OS which is Windows 10 and is backed by a 2500mAh Lithium Polymer battery. It sports a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) WSVGA IPS display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3735G with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage.

The device doesn’t support cellular connectivity, just Wi-Fi only and as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and micro USB v2.0. It measures 188 x 107 x 9.0mm in dimensions, weighs 280 grams and there is also a microSD card slot onboard.
