Bryte has a new tablet selling in Nigeria; the Bryte One octa-core tablet is available exclusively on Konga. The slate which makes voice calls and is pre-loaded with over 25 games and apps including BBM, Instagram, Office Suite, Skype, Facebook and Twitter is selling for a retail price of N15,900 in Gold, Silver, Black and Wine Red colours.
Moving to the specifications, the Bryte One sports a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels (HD) resolution and a pixel density of 200ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, there is a 2-megapixels front facing camera and a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash. The tablet which has a mix of front plastic and metal back body, perform phone functions i.e make and receive calls, send messages and multimedia.
Connectivity options on the Bryte One tablet includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G. It has Dual SIM support (micro + normal SIM), runs the now dated Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is backed by a sufficient 3600mah battery that should provide up to 2 days of talk time depending on usage.
