Gionee Elife S5.5 Specifications and Price

Introducing the World’s Slimmest smartphone, the Gionee Elife S5.5, the phone is named after its. 5.55mm body. Gionee S5.5 boasts of the world’s thinnest AMOLED screen, thinnest PCB board with a 0.6MM and 0.4mm glass rear cover.

The Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer is launching the ELIFE S series as a new product category and will feature products that incorporate the best designs without compromising on hardware and software.

The S5.5 is packed with a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED plus screen, a true Octa-core 1.7GHz processor, a 13 Megapixel rear camera and the world’s first 95 degree ultra-wide angle 5 Megapixel front camera. The phone will also run AMIGO OS, which has been customised from Android for the ELIFE S5.5. Like the ELIFE E7, the phone consists of two shooting modes, the professional and normal camera settings, as well as the availability of the “Charm Camera” which includes auto make-up mode, footprint mode, and meeting memo mode.

The S5.5 supports HSPA＋42 Mbps with up to six different band sets, which allows it to function in most 3G WCDMA coverage areas as well as enabling global 3G roaming.

PRICING AND AVAILABILITY
The Phone is already available in India presently and sells for Rs. 22,999 (about $381). Its availability in the Nigeria and African market is yet to be known nut it is expected to sell around N60,000 to N68,000. The Gionee Elife S5.5 will be available in pink, aqua, white, purple and black colour variants.
