China Telecom has added a new smartphone – the Kingsun K6 Plus to the list of devices on sale via the carrier. The phablet sized device has specs which ranks it in the higher mid-range category and will arrive in Golden, Gray, Rose Gold and Silver colour options for CNY 2399 (US$ 370).
Moving to the specifications, the Kingsun K6 Plus sports a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) and a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood sits a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8916 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
For photography, there is front facing 8-megapixels camera for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash. The device supports FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, W-CDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 and GSM networks.
Other connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and micro USB v2.0 port. The Kingsun K6 Plus has Dual SIM slots (Micro SIM + Micro SIM), a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB or 64GB, boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2800mAh Li-ion battery.
