Lava Mobiles has introduced a new 8-inch tablet – the Lava Ivory M4 into the Indian Market on the last day of the year. It is available from several online and offline retailers for a price tag of Rs 9299 (USD 140) in Dark Grey and Silver colour options.
Measuring 211.2 x 122.7 x 7.9mm in dimensions, the Lava Ivory M4 sports a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio and is backed by a 4000mAh battery. It rocks a single SIM slot and supports 3G connectivity as well as other options such as Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The slate runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and derives power from a quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-400 MP2 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32 GB. For photography, there is a front facing 3.2MP camera and a rear facing 8M AutoFocus camera with LED flash.
