Lenovo IdeaPad MIIX 700 Business Edition Hybrid Tablet goes official

Lenovo has announced the business edition of the Lenovo Ideapad MIIX 700 hybrid tablet at the CES 2016. In terms of hardware,the Lenovo IdeaPad MIIX 700 Business Edition comes majority of the same as the consumer vversion of the Ideapad MIIX 700 and adds enterprise-level security with built-in TPM (Trusted Platform Module) chip.‎

The Lenovo IdeaPad MIIX 700 Business Edition is a hybrid (2-in-1) device which can be used as a tablet and as a notebook with the keyboard dock. It has a dedicated stylus and has supports for Windows Hello authentication on Windows 10 using the Intel RealSense R200 3D camera.

The 1.45kg weighing hybrid sports a 12-inch (2140 x 1440 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 400 nits display brightness. It is powered by an Intel Core M7 vPro processor with Intel HD Graphics, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of Solid State Drive storage. ‎

Asides the introduction of the TPM chip which helps secure the device by integrating cryptographic keys into it, the specs are the same as the original. Lenovo didn’t announce how much the ‎Lenovo IdeaPad MIIX 700 Business Edition will go on sale for but it can be purchased in stores by February. ‎
