Lenovo K4 Note with 5.5″ FHD display and 3400mAh battery costs $180

Lenovo has officially announced the Lenovo K4 Note in India. The successor to the Lenovo K3 Note will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India on January 19th for a price tag of Rs 11999 (US$ 180) in Black and White colours.

The company also launched the Lenovo K4 Note VR bundle which costs Rs. 12,499 with the inclusion of ‎ANTVR headset which costs Rs. 1299 separately. The device is tipped to be the same as the Lenovo Vibe X3 Lite or the Lenovo VIBE A7010 but with 3GB of RAM. These models are sold in China.

The 5.5-inch sized Lenovo K4 Note has an IPS LCD display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.

In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP snapper for selfies and a rear facing 13MP camera with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and Dual-Tone LED flash. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB and connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth, USB OTG, GPS/A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

‎The Lenovo K4 Note has a rear placed fingerprint scanner, Dual Micro SIM slots, front facing Dual 1.5W Stereo speakers like that on Motorola devices, headphone users can take advantage of the Wolfson WM8281 audio codec and Dolby Atmos sound for enhanced audio output.

Another multimedia based feature is TheaterMax which turns any multimedia content into 3D VR when a VR headset is used with it. The K4 Note by Lenovo ‎measures 153.6 x 76.5 x 9.14mm in dimensions, weighs 158 grams, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Lenovo Vibe UI ontop and is backed by a 3400mAh battery.
