ZTE Nubia Prague S with 5.2″ FHD display, 3GB RAM and Android 5.1 debuts

‎ZTE has announced the latest smartphone from the company’s Nubia series – the ZTE Nubia Prague S in China. The specs ticks all the dots expected for a high mid-range device but it runs the recently dated Android Lollipop OS. It is available on pre-order for a price tag of CNY 2499 (US$ 380) in Rose Gold and Silver colours. Sales is scheduled to start January 23rd.‎

Powered by an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, the ZTE Nubia Prague S sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD OGS Super AMOLED display with 2.5D arc glass ontop , pixel density of 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It meassures 148.2 x 72.5 x 6.8mm in dimensions and weighs 135 grams in size.

The device packs 3GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage space which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card slot. For photography, there is a rear facing 13MP f/2.2 camera with LED Flash and 5P lens; and a ‎front-facing 8MP f/2.4 camera with 78-degree wide viewing angle and NeoVission camera UI.

For added security, the Eyeprint ID iris scanner is added for secure locking and for enhanced audio output, the AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip, 7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder are all onboard. Connectivity options available includes Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. ‎

The ZTE Nubia Prague S packs Hybrid Dual SIM slots (micro + Nano/microSD), boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Nubia 3.0 UI ontop and is backed by a 2200mAh battery with fast charging support. ‎
