Dell Venue 8 Pro Windows 10 tablet with Full HD display and LTE now available

Dell has introduced the Windows 10 model of the Dell Venue 8 Pro Windows 8.1 tablet with improved hardware and specifications. The company is selling the Windows 10 Home version for $399 and the Windows 10 Pro version for $449. The Dell Active Pen costs an additional $40. ‎

The Dell Venue 8 Pro Windows 10 tablet sports a 8-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) Full HD‎ touchscreen display and is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8500 quad-core processor clocked at 2.24GHz with 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.

The company has introduced a SIM slot (micro SIM), NFC and the Thunderbolt 3/USB-C port – the port can be used to charge the device or use adapters for external ports. The rear facing snapper remains the 5MP main camera while the front facing camera has seen an upgrade from 1.2MP to 2MP. ‎

The Dell Venue 8 Pro Windows 10 tablet supports the optional Dell Active Pen for note taking and drawing, ‎measures 216 x 130 x 9.45 mm in dimensions, ‎weighs about 377.1 grams and packs a battery rated to be 19.5WHr Lithium Ion. Other connectivity options on the slate includes – Wi-Fi 2×2 802.11ac with Miracast and Bluetooth 4.0.
