Swipe Virtue with 5-inch HD display, Quad-core SoC, 2GB RAM announced

‎The Swipe Virtue is the latest smartphone from the Indian based, Swipe Mobiles’ portfolio. Like most smartphones from the company, it supports 3G connectivity and Dual SIM support. It is available for a price tag of Rs 5999 (US$ 89) in White with Silver colour option exclusively from Snapdeal.

Housed in a metallic body frame and running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Swipe Virtue ‎sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), measures 142.0 x 70.8 x 8.3 mm in dimensions and weighs‎ 172 grams. It is backed by a removable 2500mAh Li-ion battery with up to 8 hours talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time promised.

Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (12.48GB user available). For additional storage space, a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB cards is on-board.

For photography, the Swipe Virtue has a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video calls; and a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash. Connectivity options available includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 3G HSPA+ but no 4G LTE.
