Spanish based smartphone maker, Weimei Mobile has a new beautifully crafted smartphone with an all-metal body in the market – the Weimei We Plus. The device will showcased at the upcoming MWC 2016 event and comes in Grey and Silver colour options for a price tag of EUR 290.
The Weimei We Plus features a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 77.8% screen-to-body ratio. It relies on a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (up to 128GB).
In the camera aspect, there is a rear facing 13-megapixel camera with Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF), Samsung S5K3M2XXM5 sensor, f/2.0 aperture. For selfies and video chats, the front-facing snapper is 5-megapixel camera with Samsung sensor and an f/2.2 aperture.
The Weimei We Plus has Dual SIM 4G (Nano + Micro) slots, runs WeOS (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS), supports 2G, 3G and 4G LTE (TDD-LTE & FDD-LTE) networks as well as standard connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/c/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and GPS/A-GPS/GLONASS.
The device has LED notification light (shows three different colours), uses the USB Type-C port and is backed by a 3150mAh battery with Rapid Charging 5V/2A, Intelligent Battery Optimisation and Extreme mode.
