BLU introduces the STUDIO C series Android smartphone Lineup

Miami-Based Smartphone manufacturer, BLU has announced a quartet of affordable Android smartphone with its ‘STUDIO C Series’ lineup. The BLU STUDIO C series devices announced are the BLU Studio 5.0 C HD, Studio C Mini, Studio 5.0 C, and Studio 5.0 CE. All the device all run on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and have a MediaTek Quad Core MT6582 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz which keeps the device ticking under the hood.

Starting with the highest of the BLU Studio C series, the Blu Studio 5.0 C HD. The device features a 5-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood is a Quad-core MediaTek MT 6582 SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot for expansion up to 64GB and a 2000mAh battery.

BLU Studio 5.0 C HD

The Blu Studio 5.0 C HD also has a 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash, a 2MP front camera. The Dual-SIM device supports WiFi b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi Hotspot, micro-USB, FM Radio connectivity options. The device is available for $149.00 on Amazon.com.

The Studio C Mini features a 4.7-inch IPS display resulting in a pixel density of 200ppi. There is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, 4GB internal storage and microSD card slot for memory expansion. Asides that it has other features and connectivity options the Studio 5.0 C HD possess. It is available for $119 on Amazon.com.

Next is the Blu Studio 5.0 C and the Blu Studio 5.0 CE, both device sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a MediaTek MT 6572 SoC with 1.3GHz dual-core CPU, Mali 400 GPU, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 512MB of RAM and 1800mAh battery.

The difference between the Blu Studio 5.0 C and the Blu Studio 5.0 CE is that the former features 5MP rear/0.3MP front camera and the latter sports a 3MP rear/0.3MP front; whilst also the Studio 5.0 C supports 4G HSPA+ connectivity, the Studio 5.0 CE doesn’t.
