Meizu M3 Note Phablet Set For April 6 Announcement

Meizu is ‎preparing to launch the Meizu M3 Note – successor to the M2 Note which was launched in June last year. The company has announced an event scheduled at the Beijing National Convention Center on April 6th, the same day the Huawei P9 smartphone is also expected to go official.

While there is no official confirmation yet, the Meizu M3 Note phablet is expected to sport a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB built-in expandable storage space.

The device will keep the same design as the Meizu M2 Note, sport a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with dual-tone flash, front facing 5-megapixels camera with wide-angle lens, Dual SIM slots with support for 4G LTE connectivity and a sizeable 3100mAh battery.

Meizu has a dedicated website for the launch of the new Blue Charm device and the tagline for the event is “Pretty fast, thin, long-lasting”. In terms of pricing, the Meizu M3 Note phablet is expected sell for CNY 799 ($123) and CNY 999 ($154) for the 16GB and 32GB storage variant respectively.
